CBAA closes its 25th annual business week celebration
The College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA) just concluded its Grand Festival for Annual Business Week with the theme, “Bridging the Legacy and Honoring the Heritage through Innovation and Connection” at the New CBAA Bldg. ground floor on March 22.
The program ended with a joyful awarding ceremony. Overall, the first-year students were pronounced as the champion, having earned 189 points from all the competitions (academic, non-academic, and larong Pinoy). The juniors, on the other hand, were awarded as the first runner-up after garnering a total score of 148. They are followed by the sophomores as the second runner-up with 134 points, and the seniors as the third runner-up with 109 points.
During the awarding ceremony, an exclusive pageant for the Queens of Festival unfolded, which highlighted inclusivity and gender equality among all LGBTQIA+ contestants. Everyone was cheerful and supportive of their representatives.
The celebration was a five-day program that started on March 18 with grand festivities, which were actively participated by the students, CBAA faculty and staff, guests, and University officials led by Dr. Erwin F Cadorna.
The Business Week celebration was spearheaded by the Organization of Business Administration Students (OBAS) led by the governor, Julian Veandrae Q. Quarto and guided by the adviser, Mr. Jhonnino A. Serdenia.
“This is by far the best Business Week celebration of the College,” said one student.
