The UNP College of Communication and Information Technology (UNP-CCIT) served as the official tabulator for the Miss Sta. Catalina 2024 pageant on November 24 at the Sta. Catalina Auditorium.

The event showcased the UNP Automated Tabulation System, which delivered accurate, reliable, and error-free computations through advanced technology. Its user-friendly interface allowed tabulators to work efficiently, ensuring dependable results and enhancing the pageant’s reputation for fairness and transparency.

This activity is part of UNP-CCIT’s flagship extension program, CONNECT, which emphasizes using technology to support community needs. Faculty members Dr. Richard Arruejo, Mr. Mariano Romano Jr., Mr. Rogelio Rabena, Mr. Gian Paolo Cabanas, Mr. Ade John Gestole, Mr. Ferino Gem Madriaga, and Dr. Arpee Arruejo served as tabulators.

Alongside UNP-CCIT, the University’s College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) contributed to the success of the event by serving as ushers and usherettes. Both colleges demonstrated their dedication to supporting local events, showcasing the collective talent and professionalism of UNP in various capacities.  

The success of Miss Sta. Catalina 2024 reflects UNP’s ability to integrate technology and talent, ensuring the smooth execution of community events while upholding the values of transparency and integrity.
