In preparation for the opening of RLE Laboratory Skills Classes, the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Vigan City awarded six (6) safety seals to the College of Nursing (CN) on 03 March 2022. The awarding was attended by university officials headed by Dr. Erwin F. Cadorna, UNP President; faculty and staff of the College of Nursing led by Dr. Francis Don Nero, College Dean; DILG officials Aprille Regina Guerrero, Andres Vendiola Jr., and Ann France Burgonio; and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) officers Elmer Asistin and Antonio Quillopo. The Safety Seal certification is granted to institutions who have complied with the minimum public health standards (MPHS) against COVID-19 set by the government. The Safety Seal program is a joint-initiative by the DILG, the Department of Health, Department of Labor and Employment, Department of Trade and Industry; and the Department of Tourism.
