The UNP Gymnasium roared with cheers and merriment during the closing program of Intramural Games on 18 October 2022.
Dr. Erwin F. Cadorna, University President, Albert R. Tejero, Vice President for Finance and Administration, and Daryll Virtudes, Student Regent, handed the trophies to the winners. Proud deans of the winning units were also in attendance.
The event started with the dancesports competition. Unit VII topped the Latin category, while Unit III dominated the Standard category.
The overall champion was Unit III- Blue Stingrays (CTE, LS & CTech). Unit V- Wolves (CCJE & CSW) garnered 1st runner up, and Unit IV- Eagles (CBAA) took home 2nd runner up.
Special awards were also given. Unit VI- Jaguars (CoE) won as the “Most Represented Unit”. Iren Jan B. Donato, Faculty, CAS-DSSP, got “Most Engaged Post” reaping 3,400 Facebook shares with the hashtag – #𝐮𝐧𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐬𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐.
