With UNP’s passion, persistence, and dedication– the amalgamation of these virtues became the catalyst for the continuous elevation of quality and standard. This has served as a starting point for other schools to benchmark with the university.
The Ilocos Sur Community College (ISCC) visited the University of Northern Philippines on 12 August 2022 to look into the best practices of the university’s Human Resource Management Office, specifically on the requirements and process of availing leave credits.
ISCC’s administrative officers were welcomed by the UNP-HRMO team, led by Ms. Jane A. Leones, HRMO IV.
UNP’s Human Resource Management Unit was conferred with Maturity Level II under the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) in the Regional Recognition Rites l in 2019.
In line with the university’s quality policy, the HRMO has been vigilant in initiating innovative accomplishments that contributed much in the development and operation of the university in general.
The PRIME-HRM of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) gears to instill meritocracy and excellence in the performance of human resource management officers in public service. CSC is the central personnel manager of Philippine public agencies.
