Dr. Sherlyn Marie Nitura of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – North La Union Campus (DMMMSU-NLUC) recently made a courtesy visit to Dr. Erwin F. Cadorna, the esteemed President of the University of Northern Philippines on March 22, 2025. The visit underscored the strong academic ties and mutual commitment to excellence in education between the two institutions.

As an adjunct faculty member of UNP’s Master of Arts in Guidance and Counselling program, Dr. Nitura plays an integral role in shaping future professionals in the field. Her engagement reflects the shared vision of fostering collaboration and advancing educational initiatives to benefit students and the broader community.

The meeting, held in a spirit of camaraderie and shared purpose, serves as a testament to the enduring partnership and dedication to advancing the academic landscape in the region.

Dr. Nitura is the Director for Gender and Development of DMMMSU and a Registered Guidance Counselor.
