QA Office holds Accreditation Training
The Quality Assurance Office, headed by Dr. Eva Marie C. Avila, held a Program Accreditation Seminar-Workshop at the University Gymnasium and Library on February 15 and 16.
The said endeavor is part of the University’s strategy to prepare the different degree programs for assessments and accreditations by external agencies.
Always eyeing quality assurance across its curricular offerings, the University aims to sustain and improve the delivery of quality and excellent education to students and provide the best possible services to all its stakeholders.
This is pursuant to CMO No. 1, s. 2005, also called the Revised Policies and Guidelines on Voluntary Accreditation in Aid of Quality and Excellence in Higher Education.
Faculty members of different colleges were chosen as participants.
Members of the internal accreditation team served as resource speakers for the different areas of accreditation.
They are Dr. Sina C. Bestre (vision, mission, goals, and objectives), Dr. Mario P. Obrero (faculty), Dr. Luzviminda P. Relon (curriculum and instruction), Dr. Eva Marie C. Avila (support to students), Dr. Marlou R. Savella (research), Dr. Marites I. Duquinal (extension and community involvement), Dr. Leilani A. Basa (library), Dr. Nelia P. Verzosa (physical plant and facilities), Dr. Marjorie R. Dafun (laboratories), and Dr. Erwin T. Tolbe, Dr. Ashley S. Martinez, and Dr. Necy Cesaria V. Romo (administration).
