CTE launches Teachers’ Month celebration

 

The College of Teacher Education kicked off the month-long celebration of the Teachers’ Month, focused on honoring teachers’ contributions to society, through a program held at the Function Hall, Academic Building of the College of Teacher Education, September 9, 2024, from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon.

“To all our incredible teachers, as we launched this month of celebration dedicated to you, remember that your influence goes beyond lessons and textbooks,” Dr. Ma. Teresa Susan L. Manzano, CTE dean, reiterated in her message.

She also added that their passion and dedication ignite the flames of curiosity and growth and wished that the month be a reminder of the power they hold to transform lives and inspire greatness.

The theme of the celebration is “Empowering Educators for a Sustainable Future.” Dances among faculty and students were witnessed and showcased.

Reynel Q. Bista, governor of the College of Teacher Education Students Organization (CTE-SO) gave his opening remarks. The presidents of the different accredited organizations of the College also delivered their messages to the faculty.

The organizations are Professional and Future English Teachers Association (PRO-FETA), Kapisanan ng mga Guro at Magiging Guro sa Filipino (KAGUMAGUFIL), Professional and Future Industrial Technology Educators (PRO-FITED), Future Early Childhood and Special Needs Teachers Organization (FESTO), Physical Education and Arts-Dynamic Developers and Enthusiasts Club (PADDEC), Social Studies Club (SSC), Science Group for Learning and Teaching (SCIEGLAT), Association of Mathematics Enthusiasts (AME), and Young Minds and Educators Club (YMEC).

Mark Dexter Pescador, CTE-SO vice governor, concluded the said occasion.
