‘Take It Easy… Free Yourself from Test Anxiety’ held for LS students

 

As a response to the request of Grade 12 students of the CTE–Laboratory Schools, the Office of Student Affairs and Services, through the Guidance and Counseling Services and Information and Orientation Services, conducted an activity for overcoming test anxiety, entitled “Take It Easy… Free Yourself from Test Anxiety” on April 25, 2024 via Zoom.

This activity aims to help students cope with worry,and improve their test talking skills, particularly for college admission tests.

Dr. Mariano Paterno Avila, director of the Office of Student Affairs and Services, expressed his delight in welcoming the grade 12 students and provided a brief overview on the activity. The guidance counsellor of the Laboratory Schools, Ms. Krystal Gale Senica, led an energizer to get everyone in a productive shape of mind before the activity began.

Ms. Eden A. Ulep shared valuable techniques and strategies in conquering nervousness or stress before, during, and after test examination. She also discussed the symptoms and causes of test anxiety.

Dr. Marifel Q. Acena, the head of the Guidance and Counseling and Information and Orientation Services, expressed her gratitude to the participants for joining the activity.
