TSU faculty benchmark from UNP
Administrators and faculty members of the Tarlac State University (TSU) visited the University of Northern Philippines for a benchmarking activity on February 16.
The team is composed of Ar. Raymond T. Co (associate dean of TSU’s College of Architecture and Fine Arts), Fine Arts chair Jessie M. Tadeo Jr., Dr. Brigido B. Corpuz (presidential assistant), and Fine Arts faculty Edno T. Joson, Kenneth Joson, and Princess Gabrielle Masanque.
The benchmarking was hosted by the College of Fine Arts and Design (CFAD) with Dr. Ashley Martinez at the helm and facilitated by the Public Information Office, headed by Dr. Irene Abigail S. Guerrero.
The best practices of the UNP CFAD were the focus of the benchmarking. In addition, the team also learned about the cultural and scholarship programs of the Office of Student Affairs and Services, as well as the internationalization initiatives of the College of Teacher Education shared by Dr. Ma. Teresa Susan L. Manzano.
More notably, Dr. Edelyn A. Cadorna, director of the University Research and Development Office (URDO), also shared UNP’s best practices in research and journal publication.
The activity ended with the sealing of a Memorandum of Agreement between TSU and UNP, signed by Dr. Erwin F. Cadorna. With initiatives for collaboration in view, this took place at the Office of the President.
