The Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) held the joint closing ceremony on June 15, 2024 at the Gymnasium, University of Northern Philippines, Tamag, Vigan City.

There were 613 completers of both basic and advanced ROTC. Of these completers, for basic ROTC, 398 were from UNP, 60 from Ilocos Sur Community College, and 142 from Divine Word College of Vigan. There were 13 completers of advanced ROTC. UNP is an ROTC activated Unit while ISCC and DWCV are ROTC affiliated units.

The guest of Honor and Speaker during the closing ceremony was Hon. Jeremias Singson, Governor of Ilocos Sur, represented by his grandson Justin Aeriel Singson.

The closing ceremony was attended by officials of the Philippine Army led by Col Leopoldo Babante and reservists led by 1Lt Nestor Pajaro. For UNP, Dr. Rolando Navarro attended the event and welcomed the participants of the closing ceremony. 

The coordinator of the event was Mr. Ramon Opena of the UNP ROTC.
