The University of Northern Philippines has once again demonstrated academic excellence as three of its programs secured the highest accreditation status from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP).

The Bachelor of Science in Geodetic Engineering and the Master in Business Administration were awarded Level IV re-accredited status, while the Master of Arts in Technology and Livelihood Education major in Industrial Arts was granted Level IV retained status, valid until December 15, 2029. These programs underwent a rigorous survey visit in December 2024.

Level IV accreditation is the highest recognition granted by AACCUP, awarded to academic programs that have demonstrated excellence in research, performance of graduates, instruction, community engagement, international linkages and consortia and planning process. This distinction signifies that these programs meet the highest academic and industry standards, ensuring their graduates receive education that is both competitive and relevant in today’s workforce.

For students, this accreditation guarantees access to high-quality instruction, well-equipped facilities, and updated curricula aligned with global industry trends. It also assures employers that UNP graduates possess the skills and competencies required in their respective fields.
