The University of Northern Philippines Retirees Association (UNP RA) joined in the UNP Foundation Week celebration through the UNP RA Day held at the Guestel on October 15, 2024.

UNP retirees led by its President Dr. Lauro Tacbas, former University President, converged for a celebration. The activity filled with fun and excitement through games and dances was also attended by Dr. Rolando Navarro, VP for Academic Affairs; Mr. Albert Tejero, VP for Finance and Administration; Dr. Fatima Rocamora, VP Research and Extension; and Engr. Saturnino Tablada, Executive Assistant. Dr. Erwin Cadorna, University President, was not able to attend because of his official business in Manila.

Part of the gathering was a fraternal luncheon and the launching of the UNP RA Hymn with lyrics composed by Dr. Tacbas and the melody and music by SPM Jay Andia. The activity was concluded with the business meeting of the UNP RA.
