In preparation for their upcoming clinical experiences and community engagements, the Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science (BSMLS) third and first-year students the College of Health Sciences (CHS) held their pre-Internship and community and public health orientation on January 23, 2025 at the UNP Auditorium.

The said event was structured into two distinct sessions: a morning session for third-year students and an afternoon session for first-year students.

The morning session was for the pre-internship orientation of third-year students attended by Dr. Joussie Bermio, Dean; Prof. Alfredo Corpuz, Assistant Dean; and Mr. Ace Danielle Avero, BSMLS Program Head, where the importance of the student orientation in their upcoming endeavors was emphasized.

The orientation was followed by the presentation of Prof. Sherwin Alvaro, BSMLS Internship Coordinator, which outlined the guidelines and requirements for pre-internship laboratory, and the guidelines and requirements on community and public health laboratory during the afternoon session, which was participated by the first-year students.
