CHED honors UNP for the top performance

The University of Northern Philippines, represented by its President, Dr. Erwin Cadorna, received significant recognitions for its contributions in education and community development during the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office 1 2024 Higher Education Executive Conference: President’s Roundtable for Institutional and Managerial Excellence (PRIME) on July19, 2024 at the Monarch Hotel, Calasiao, Pangasinan.

UNP was recognized internationally for its efforts to tackle global socio-environmental issues through education, specifically on Times Higher Education Impact Ranking: Rank 1001-1500 and World University Rankings for Innovation: Rank 290. This recognition features  the university’s commitment to development and its impact on bringing change to society.

Furthermore, UNP also received recognition for its performance in the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Licensure Examinations. Over the years, from 2022 to 2024 the university consistently produced high caliber graduates in nursing and teacher education, highlighting UNP’s dedication to academic excellence and the quality of its academic programs.

In addition, UNP was commended as a top performing institution in midwifery during the same period adding pride and prestige to Region I.

Lastly, these awards do not only bolster the university’s standing but also emphasize its role in shaping skilled professionals who contribute positively to society. Through these achievements, UNP continues to uphold its mission of promoting excellence and community engagement.
