CSW holds second self-enhancement training for ECCD workers
The College of Social Work, led by Prof. Melody T. Gacita, facilitated another training for early childhood care and development (ECCD) workers in Suyo, Ilocos Sur on August 9, 2024.
It is a follow-up self-enhancement activity to that of the previously held one on March 1, 2024. This event focused on assisting participants so they can appreciate the importance of recognizing personal strength that can come about from respect of self and others regardless of gender or sexual orientation or preference.
Atty. Mary Jane J. Tubon, CSW alumna, discussed “Gender Sensitivity: A Tool to Early Childhood Care and Development Work Efficiency.” This was followed by Prof. Aurora R. Quero on cultivating inner strength and Prof. Melody T. Gacita on character building.
Mr. Jay Ar Joshua A. Tolentino and Ms. Jezinelle Y. Punio facilitated the activity.
The activity was anchored on SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities.
