Project L.A.P.I.S. reaches Sta. Lucia high school
The Admission Services conducted the Project LA.P.I.S. and conducted a lecture on career exploration at the Teodoro Hernaez National High School, Sta. Lucia, Ilocos Sur on April 5, 2024.
An extension program of the Admission Services, under the Office of Student Affairs and Services, Project LA.P.I.S means “LApis para sa Pangarap ng mga Ilokanong eStudyante,” implemented in various schools in the province.
The office also conducts series of lectures, which includes mental health seminars and career coaching and guidance.
This aimed to guide the graduating Grade 12 students on their exits focusing on education, employment, and middle skills to enable them to succeed in society.
This was also the opportunity to disseminate information about the different programs offered in the University.
This is in support to SDG no. 4 (Quality Education), SDG no. 5 (Gender Equality), and SDG no.10 (Reduced Inequalities). The activity aimed to provide equal access to information for the participants, as well as prepare them for their future careers regardless of their gender, economic status, ethnicity, and disability.
