PSU benchmarks on CSW’s best practices
Seven faculty members of the Social Work department of the Pangasinan State University–Lingayen Campus (PSU) visited the University of Northern Philippines to benchmark on the Bachelor of Science in Social Work program of the UNP College of Social Work.
The objective of PSU is to enhance the caliber of their academic curriculum and practical training programs as well as to foster exchange of knowledge and best practices that could mutually benefit both respective educational endeavors.
During the activity, Prof. Melody T. Gacita (dean) highlighted that the College of Social Work will also be learning from the different the best practices of the Social Work program of PSU, regardless of the difference of level status in both institutions.
“We are very happy and grateful that you accepted our request for benchmarking. This collaboration is for students, the program, and the University, a beckon of hope,” Mr. Joseph Barrera, department head, stated.
Led by Mr. Barrera, the team was composed of Mr. Great I Am W.C. Gismundo, Mr. Jayson P. Molina, Ms. Catherine Anne P. Agtutubo, and Ms. Donabel C. Sabas, along with Ms. Rosy J. Ulanday representing the Lingayen Campus Quality Assurance Office.
