State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA), represented by the University of Northern Philippines (UNP), settles as first runner up during the first-ever CHED All-Star Friendship Games 2024, which spanned from December 11 up to December 13, 2024, at the Amoranto Sports Complex, Quezon City.

UNP Men’s Baskteball Team was led by Prof. Vincent Palma, head coach, Atty. Gerwin Rabang, assistant coach, Mr. Joel Arruejo, director for sports, Prof. Chasen Almazan, Mr. Edgar Aquino, Mr. Carlo Ventura, and Mr. Jastin Soria also served as trainors and support.

The varsity players that conquered the 2023 National SCUAA, represented the Philippine Association of State colleges and Universities (PASUC) in this All-Star game with John Jasper Andres, as team captain, other members of the team include, Justine Ventura, Cris Emanuel Tagorda, Jose Emmanuel Talledo, Nhoel Osalvo, Gershwin Andreev Rafanan, Karl Alexi Alcayaga, Adrian Clemen Aguilar, James Pacaoan, Dale Jovan Paiste, Nathan Rey Rodillas, Jaden Tabura, Mark Jayson Belano, Leemar Jester Pamani, and Jericho Saribay.

UNP Men’s Baskteball Team have been receiving various recognitions from local, regional and national basketball leagues. Mr. Nathan Rodillas was also named one of the tournaments mythical five.
