UNP center officially accredited by TESDA
On September 24, 2025, the University of Northern Philippines received its accreditation certificate as a TESDA Accredited Assessment Center for Automotive Servicing NC I, Mechatronics Servicing NC II, and Electronic Products Assembly and Servicing NC II.
The certificate was presented by TESDA Provincial Director Larry F. Dizon, Sr. and received by UNP President Dr. Erwin F. Cadorna, along with Dr. Julius Moises S. Albalos, dean of the College of Technology; Dr. Allan Q. Guillermo, assistant dean of the College of Technology, and Prof. Harrison Teodosio, program head of the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology Program.
The TESDA-accredited Assessment Center aims to provide national certifications that validate students’ technical skills and enhance their readiness for employment.
By integrating academic learning with industry standards, the center of the College of Technology ensures students achieve the necessary qualifications, enhancing their competitiveness in the job market with credentials recognized both nationally and internationally.
