The UNP-Environmental Management Office (UEMO) and the Ilocos Sur Environmental Enthusiasts (ISEE) renewed their commitment to enhance cooperation on environmental issues through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement on November 15, 2023. The MOA was signed by UNP President Dr. Erwin F. Cadorna and the ISEE Founding Chair Mr. Mark Louis Galanga, and witnessed by UEMO Director Prof. Anne Europa Morales in a signing ceremony at the University of Northern Philippines Auditorium.
This new MOU aims to foster collaboration and information exchange on topics such as air quality, water quality, science-informed policy making, climate change adaptation, solid waste management, environmental impact assessment, environmental incident response, environmental justice, and strengthening enforcement and compliance assurance.
