UNP welcomes CHED evaluation team for program compliance assessment
On November 20, 2024, Dr. Irene Oael led the CHED evaluation team for the Technical Panel Visit for the Evaluation of the Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling (MAGC) Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) Application of the University of the Northern Philippines.
Accompanying her were Ms. Charity Barrera, PTS III from the CHED Office of Program Standards and Development, and Dr. Al Gerald Barde, CHED ROI Education Supervisor II. Together, they conducted a comprehensive review of the university’s facilities and documentation to ensure compliance with CHED standards as outlined in CMO 15, s. 2019.
Dr. Erwin Cadorna, UNP President, along with other university officials, warmly welcomed the evaluation team. This assessment highlights CHED’s ongoing commitment to enhancing educational practices within the field of guidance and counseling, reflecting a dedication in maintaining high standards in academic programs that support student well-being and professional development.
