World Habitat Day

UN-Habitat, the UN agency in charge of cities and human settlements, organized a global commemoration in honor of World Habitat Day on October 2, 2023 to raise awareness of the importance of resilient and sustainable urban environments. The topic, “Resilient urban economies: Cities as drivers of growth and recovery” focused on how cities may position their economies to benefit their citizens through decent and sufficient housing.
