The month-long celebration on environmental awareness concluded with an Environmental Summit and a closing program held at the Tadena Hall on November 29, 2023.

The summit was attended by University officials headed by Dr. Erwin F. Cadorna (UNP President), faculty, and students.

Prof. Celso H. Juvutan, Coordinator at Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University Environmental Management Office was the guest speaker who talked on the perils of plastics.

The activity was organized by the University Environmental Management Office headed by Prof. Analiza Morales (Director), and its cooperating units: Office of the President, Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs headed by Dr. Rolando Navarro, Office of Student Affairs and Services under Dr. Mariano Avila (Director), Office of the Student Council led by Regent Jhunel Tanurio, Public Information Office headed its officer-in-charge Dr. Irene Abigail Guerrero, and Medical Services Office under Dr. Daune Oandasan.

The summit was held to let the University constituents understand the ceaseless and passionate call of the University for the banning of plastics.
