Due to the 7.3 magnitude earthquake experienced by the province on 27 July 2022, the Medical Services Office initiated information dissemination on earthquake through the production of printed materials distributed to university constituents.

The Earthquake Safety Guide project aimed to provide information particularly on safety procedures before, during, and after an earthquake. Further, the project also centered in ensuring the health and safety of all the university personnel.

The psychological trauma experienced and physical injuries sustained by some people prompted the initiation of the information dissemination drive.

The project is led by Dr. Daune Alden F. Oandasan, Head, MSO, in cooperation with the Student Council, and the Public Information Office.
