To equip the UNP students with knowledge and information on natural calamity preparedness, the University Extension Office thru the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Center conducted a training and orientation on Earthquake preparedness.

The UNP students were divided in to four groups and participated in the earthquake drill on the following dates:

September 27- CTech, CArch, CE, CPAD, CFad

September 28- CCJE, CSW, CN, CHS, CMed

Septewmber 29- CHTM, CCIT, CAS

September 30- CTE, LS, CBAA

During the earthquake drill, the students were oriented on what to do for their safety and to be able to prepare the community during earthquake. Mr. Jastin Soria, UEO-DRRM Coordinator, and the members of the University Emergency Response Team facilitated the conduct of the said activity.
