The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) spearheaded the Students Research Colloquium
The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) spearheaded the Students Research Colloquium on
May 29, 2024, with the theme, “Exploring New Frontiers in Research: CAS Students Leading
the Way”. The activity was held the at Guestel Function Hall (Agriculture, Fisheries, and Natural
Sciences), Multimedia Laboratory (Social Sciences), and CAS Mini Library (Mathematics and
Physical Sciences).
The colloquium covers a wide range of disciplines, including Agriculture, Fisheries, and Natural
Sciences, Social Sciences and Mathematics and Physical Sciences. The different venues used
for the colloquium catered to the diverse needs of attendees from different programs, providing
a range of settings that supported effective discussions and presentations.
The series of events had brought together students from different programs as they presented
their research results and engaged in academic discussions. The event provided platforms for
students to strengthen their research findings and foster a promising academic community. It
also served as an avenue to recognize students’ research achievements in discovering new
knowledge.
