UNP CN conducts mock board exams

The University of Northern Philippines (UNP) College of Nursing (CN) conducts mock board examination as part of its comprehensive training and assessment strategy on May 28 and 30, 2024 at the UNP Gymnasium. These mock exams are designed to simulate the actual Philippine Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE) and help students prepare for the real test.

The event aims to ensure that students are adequately prepared for the NLE. These mock exams are a crucial component of the college’s training program, which aims to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to pass the licensure exam and become competent nurses.

The mock exams provide students with a realistic simulation of the actual NLE, allowing them to familiarize themselves with the exam format, timing, and content. This helps build confidence, reduces anxiety on the actual exam day, and encourages students to think critically and solve problems under time pressure, a critical aspect of the actual NLE.

This initiative of the College helps students to develop effective time management strategies, ensuring they can complete the exam within the allotted time.

The mock exams have been a great help to improve the overall performance of UNP CN students in the NLE, with many students achieving high passing rates.
