UNP signs partnership with Tay-ac schools
The University of Northern Philippines, through the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) and the College of Health Sciences (CHS), renewed its Agreement with Tay-ac Elementary School and Tay-ac National High School for the continuation and expansion of collaboration between the two parties in Tay-ac, Bantay, Ilocos Sur on April 26, 2024.
Dr. Erwin F. Cadorna, representing UNP, extended the University’s help to the recipient school, which was represented by their principal, Mrs. Rosalinda P. Laurente. A short program was conducted to kick off the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).
The MOA aims to further strengthen the engagement of UNP with the adopted school, with the university agreeing to provide medical and dental services, conduct information drives and skills training, technical assistance, and other lectures to Tay-ac Elementary School. In turn, the school will take responsibility for continuing the established projects and programs.
The event was witnessed by OSAS Director Mariano Paterno F. Avila, Brgy. Captain Roberto P. Puerto, Extension Director Lloyd A. Mata, and VP Fatima F. Rocamora.
This renewed partnership between UNP and Tay-ac Elementary School and Tay-ac National High School signifies a significant step towards achieving the shared goal of providing quality education and promoting good health and well-being in the community.
