Residents of a Santa barangay trained on practical house-wiring

Residents of Brgy. Bucalag, Santa, Ilocos Sur were trained in practical house wiring on May 2, 2024. The extension activity, which focused on different hand tools and equipment, work safety, and load computation, was under the flagship program of Securing FUTURE of the College of Teacher Education.
The activity was organized by the Faculty of the Bachelor of Technical-Vocational Teacher Education of the College of Teacher Education led by the program head, Dr. Jojit D. Aquino.
After the MOA signing between the two parties conducted last April 12, 2024, the group implemented the first skills training activity. It is part of a series of activities of extension programs to be conducted with the community of the said barangay.
The said workshop was spearheaded by Mr. Reynaldo R. Regucera, a faculty of the BTVTED program in the College of Teacher Education.
Punong Barangay Marco D. de Peralta expressed his thanks to the University for responding to his request to assist his constituents in the conduct of livelihood and skills training.
BTVTEd faculty members Jojit D. Aquino, Dave Fontejon, Jake Quitasol, Norman Naval, and Reynaldo Regucera, as well as University Extension Office Randall Rabacal, composed the team.
